Last week the Sericopelma rubronitens abandon her egg sac. I took the sac and put it in an incubator. So far the eggs look good. A few look like they will go to eggs with legs any time now. we shall see.

The P. cambridgei ate her sac the day I was going to pull it. If only I  had pulled it a few days early like I usually do.

L. klugi  is still holding her sac . no problems so far. The sac is almost the size of a tennis ball.

P. nigricolor is still holding her sac as well. so far so good.

P. platyomma should go to 2nd in star any time now.

M. velvetosoma should go to 2nd instar in the next 3 weeks or so...............

Today my Lasiodora klugi made an egg sac. Last week my Sericopelma rubronitens made an egg sac. 

P. cambridgei sac is still with mom.

P. platyomma sac is almost ready to go to 2nd instar

M. velvetosoma sac is still 1st instar.

Last night my Psalmopoeus cambridgei made an egg sac.

My female Megaphobema robustum has webbed herself in her hole. It look like she is getting ready to make an egg sac.

Looks like A. jurenicola, P.irminia,P.cambridgei, and N.vulpinus may all make sacs. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The M. velvetosoma are starting to to get dark and should go to 1st instar in the next week.

The P. sp. "platyomma" are 1st instar and walking all over the place. Nice big slings!

The B. albopilosum should start to molt to 2nd instar in the next couple days. Curly hairs for all my friends. lol that sound weird if your not a bug person. lol.

Today I pulled a Megaphobema velvetosoma egg sac from the mother. I opened it and found eggs with legs. Still have a long way to go till they are  2nd instar.

Brachypelma albopilosum are 1st instar

Pamphobeteus sp. "platyomma" are eggs with legs

Pterinochilus murinus have hatched to 2nd instar. there are 183 slings

Today I pulled the P' platyomma sac from the female. I opened it and................................Awesome little eggs with legs!!!!! They should be ready in about 2 months.

Today I paired Lasiodora difficilis again. Man, that female is mean. She always charges the males,and chase them off.  She has already eaten 2 males. I got the male out safe and sound. He made a sperm web yesterday. I will wait another week and try again.

Next up.. Pamphobeteus nigricolor........

The female was still eating when i put the male in with her. The male did some fancy dancing and tapping, and the female put down her food to go meet  her man. They started dancing right away. The female is very receptive. They go round and round a copuple of times, the male got 2 good inserts and got away clean.

I just found out that in a couple of weeks I should recieve a mature male Phamphobeteus ultramurinus.

This is a smaller Phampho. Mine is a little skittish but very calm. One of my favorite spiders.

I am very excited to get to try breeding these again.

Tonights breeding project is Lasiodora klugi.

The male got one maybe 2 good inserts, then the female destroyed him.
